Things are good here...

Things are good here. Yesterday we had an ultrasound - the babies look healthy. They'll obviously keep a very close eye on them. We found out they are identical girls. So we will be blessed with 4 girls. God must know what we need.

Alyssa has already named them Emma and Olivia. Mike and I haven't even discussed those names yet so don't plan on them being named that. We'll see.

So because they are identical twins there is always a concern that one baby will get more blood and nutrients than the other since they are sharing the same placenta. So they will monitor this very carefully. One is 3 oz. and the other is 4 oz. right now. So they are measuring a week apart based on that. They aren't concerned right now but they will keep an eye on them as they progress. I go back in 4 weeks for a growth check and I will meet with this Dr. who will go over a lot of information with me and give me my dos and do nots. They said that twins will meet there full growth at 36 weeks so plan on going at least a month early.

It was fun to watch them. One was sitting on the other one's head. At one point it looked like one was throwing punches. So I guess they'll fit right in.

Here is a picture of the little buggers!! (This was not the ultrasound yesterday. This is one awhile back. Yesterday they had trouble fitting them both in the same picture so I sent an earlier one.) The top one is a zoom on Twin A. The next is Twin B. The bottom is the two together. I'm becoming so attached already!!
